What is this new idea? Well, the new idea is the old idea - I'd really like to start making videos of let's plays! The Inspiration The time I spent away from Izanamikun was used to solidify my habit of posting (and learning) on startfreelancing.com. Bear with me, I promise it relates. On the freelancing site, I post a weekly review of the stuff I learned over the week. This involves recording and putting together a presentation style video. So far, I've created five videos (one week was a no-go). What's That Got To Do With Anything? Well, I've gotten used to working with audio now. It may be time to step up my game and try my hand at screen capture videos! The whole point of startfreelancing.com is to help me learn so I can be better at all my endeavors, after all. Ok, So Now What?
I'll be focusing mainly on smaller games for right now, and it won't be every day at first. Videos will be posted through YouTube, though Patrons will have early access (by at least 24 hours). I'm also going to try to keep up with Google+, since it's been pretty bare for many years. Why Less Consistent? Let's face it, I'm a scanner. I've got about three to six projects at any given time, and getting the gears to work together is difficult at best. But I won't give up trying! So until things become routine (like with my freelancing site), it's probably best for me to take it slow. However, you can subscribe to any of my channels (Patreon, YouTube) or pages (Facebook, Google+) to get notified as soon as something is posted. To start, my minimum will be once a week. So look forward to a video every Saturday after this one. As I get the swing of things, the frequency will scale accordingly. See you next Saturday (if not sooner), Internet Drifters!
